July 6, 2009 EDIT: The acrylic paint stayed on very well. However, the ink did not. As a warning to anyone trying to paint their shoes, if you did it my way and you inked it with a pen and then used acrylic paint, the ink will begin to smear when it comes into contact with water =[ do not wear them in the rain like I did </3 --------------------------------------------------------------------------- I love my shoes. Don't you love my shoes? ^_^ This took me an estimated 3-4 hours and was done because I pitied my little sister because she wanted me to draw on her blank white shoes. I had wanted to do an ItaSaku design but nooooo, she doesn't want Sakura on her shoes and she wanted Kakashi -.- so I settled for Kakashi and Itachi. Seeing as this is my first time designing shoes, I am a complete noob at it. I did it using acrylic paint. I have no idea whether or not it will wash off or get smeared by contact with water, but a former art teacher has warned me that acrylic paint will stain fabric. Therefore, I hope my design will not easily wash off. |
